Separate the watch phase from the input phase. Memorize each newly extended sequence, then reproduce it only after the screen says Your turn.
Watch the entire color sequence before clicking. When the screen changes to Your turn, press the colored panels in the same order. Each successful round adds one more color. Continue through round 7 until the game says Simon says you may sign in. The sequence changes, so there is no fixed color answer to copy.
